宋（素格力·威塞哥 Sukrit Wisetkaew 饰）曾经是一名拳手，如今却成为了偏远坝区小学的教师。学校里的条件异常艰苦，没水没电没信号，宋感到自己简直就像生活在孤岛上一样，十分孤独。一次偶然中，宋得到了一本日记，日记的主人是曾经在这里教过书的安（赖拉·邦雅淑 Laila Boonyasak 饰），安在日记里详细记录了她在这里的教书生涯，随着时间的推移，宋想要见到安的念头渐渐强烈起来。 机缘巧合之下，安回到了坝区小学，然而此时宋早已经离开了。安找到了自己的日记本，却在日记本中发现了宋的续写，宋将自己的喜怒哀乐统统写在日记里，亦表达了自己想要见到安的心情。
故事发生在北京。丁伟（李健 饰）与冯川（肖肖 饰）相爱三年，第一次被冯川领回家见丈母娘（王丽云 饰），当岳母知道他没房子时，态度急转之下，明确表态没房甭想结婚。远在农村的父母知道了儿子的难处，千方百计给他筹钱，这让当儿子的丁伟十分愧疚，毕业几年了他还没给父母寄过一分钱。这期间，冯川妈见丁伟买房无望，就张罗着给女儿介绍有车有房的罗杰（郭晓秋 饰），冯川死活不同意。丁伟费尽周折靠贷款买下房子，但还贷的压力接踵而来，他与冯川的生活水平直线下降，两人的感情也随之发生了变化，这让丁伟苦不堪言，他开始反思自己的生活……
同样的一天，重复的车祸，无尽的轮回，时间禁锢的两人誓死拯救挚爱。
Pass the Salt is an hour-long investigation into the mysteries of one of our most fundamental elements: salt. We meet passionate players from both sides of the dinner table and discover how long-held beliefs are being questioned - and how everything we thought we knew about salt may be wrong. We'll taste-test salts from around the world, de-bunk myths, and re-examine data. We'll join scientists and scholars, salt harvesters, chefs and specialists on the front lines of the "Great Salt Debate" in labs, kitchens, salt harvesting operations - and even spaceships. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore new science about an ancient substance that's been a part of culture and cuisine from our very beginnings.
